Do I have to do any cleanup if I remove a record from the CreoleRuleset table?

Answer

Yes. Otherwise, you may experience an error the next time you use the creole.upload.rulesets target.

This is because the rule structures defined in the CreoleRuleset table get denormalised into a number of other tables - CreoleRuleClass, creoleRuleAttribute, creoleAttributeAvailability, etc - and these tables may contain records which still reference the records deleted from CreoleRuleset.

The attached SQL script finds and cleans up these unused records.
