Merge November 2025 newsletter: See you at RSNA
Meet Merge at RSNA 2025, see what's new in Merge Hemo 11.2 and Merge PACS 9.4, and learn more about how teleradiology and workflow orchestration are making life easier for radiologists.
Dear Merge Community,
We’re just a week away from one of my favorite weekends of the year: Thanksgiving and RSNA! I’m not being facetious about that; I do really look forward to this annual trip to Chicago to touch base with my colleagues, partners, and especially you, our customers. I know it’s a lot to ask of you to come out to this event every year on a holiday weekend, but I hope you find it valuable for the same reason I do: there’s no better opportunity all year to take in a wide range of perspectives and conversations to learn about what’s driving you, what’s driving our industry, what’s coming on the horizon, and especially how Merge is best equipped to help you weather these changes and succeed.
Below you’ll see a small sampling of what we’ll be bringing to showcase at our booth: our market-leading enterprise imaging platform and its capabilities for teleradiology and workflow orchestration; new product updates based on your feedback; and case studies of how these solutions are helping to make life better for organizations and care teams like yours.
If you’re coming to Chicago and haven’t already, make sure to book some one-on-one time with your Merge advisors – or feel free to come find me at the booth so we can chat about whatever’s on your mind. I’m really looking forward to seeing you all there, and I hope you are too.

Merge partners with Us2.ai to transform cardiology diagnostics
Merge is partnering with Us2.ai, a leader in AI for echocardiography, to improve confidence in clinical outcomes and help clients deliver quality cardiac care with AI-powered diagnostic tools that will enhance echocardiography workflows. This collaboration will integrate Us2.ai’s cutting-edge, FDA-cleared algorithms with Merge Cardio’s advanced imaging systems to deliver AI-generated echocardiogram analysis and measurements. This advancement builds on Merge’s commitment to excellence in cardiology: in Merge Universal Viewer 9.1, new features were added to support cardiology teams with echo measurements.

How Northern Light uses Merge teleradiology solutions to reduce burnout, build radiologist capacity
Northern Light Medical Management reads over 1.5 million imaging studies annually, with plans to grow rapidly – doubling yearly in volume. To support that growth, Northern Light needs to build up radiologist capacity and make it easier for radiologists – on-site and remotely – to access and read images. That’s why Northern Light has leveraged Merge to consolidate workflows associated with their numerous hospital and health system clients and make images accessible via teleradiology services to credentialed remote radiologists. Read the blog from Andrei Gonzalez, Merge VP of Product Management, on how Northern Light’s deployment of Merge Imaging Suite for Teleradiology has helped them to reduce burnout and improve work-life balance for their radiologists, while also creating new efficiencies in their tech stacks and costs.
Workflow orchestration streamlines imaging workflows in radiology and beyond
Workflow orchestration doesn’t just streamline processes through automation; it fundamentally transforms how imaging departments operate across many use cases and functions, delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, physician satisfaction, and patient care. Workflow orchestration’s impacts aren’t just on the clinical side either; it also simplifies healthcare IT management for system administrators. Check out the blog by Linda Bagley, Principal Product Manager, for more on how workflow orchestration can improve the physician experience, patient care outcomes, and imaging IT by unifying your imaging environment’s systems into a single view, enhanced by automation and AI.
