    Dear Merge customers,

Just two months from now, we’ll be kicking off the 2025 Merge User Conference in Nashville. I’m excited to see our annual tradition return as a 3-day event this year. We asked for your feedback on what you wanted to see covered at this year’s conference, and you answered in force.

Our goal this year is to help you bring your patients into sharper focus, in everything from enterprise imaging talk tracks, to product updates for our radiology and cardiology solutions, to the keynote by Dr. Nina Kottler, who will be teeing off the conference.

Check out what we have on deck for this year’s sessions and, if you haven’t already, make sure to get your RSVPs in. I hope to see you all in Nashville in June. It’s going to be a fantastic opportunity for you to network, attend specialized workshops, and take home some valuable new insights on getting the most out of your Merge deployments. Plus, it’s a week in Nashville – what could be more fun than that?

     See you there,

    Terry Ronan

In the news: Carle Health’s enterprise imaging journey

Our friends at Carle Health were recently covered in Healthcare IT News for a great story about their enterprise imaging journey. Dr. Doug Morton shared how they’ve leveraged a combination of Merge VNA and Merge Universal Viewer to build an enterprise imaging strategy that made it possible for physicians across all eight of their hospitals to read clinical images in one viewer – and how Carle set up a patient portal that lets thousands of patients every month look at their own images.

    Meet us at SIIM 2025

We will be at SIIM, May 21-23. If you’re going to be in Portland, come by booth #632 or schedule a meeting for a one-on-one chat about how we can make sure you’re getting the most out of your Merge deployments to put your patients, clinicians, and workflows in focus.

Partner spotlight: Barco Tuesdays with Merge

Imaging solutions are only as good as the screens you read the images on. That’s why we’ve partnered with Barco, whose Coronis OneLook monitor provides breast imaging clinicians and radiologists with the extreme clarity and rich colors they need to review images in complete detail – without needing to pan or zoom in, either. Join Barco’s Tuesdays with Merge session on May 6th to learn more about how Barco monitors work with Merge PACS to deliver markedly sharper medical images.

In case you missed it: Cybersecurity replay

Clinical and technical leaders from Merge shared lessons learned from recent cybersecurity attacks, including the importance of well-defined policies, governance, and security by design. Check out this replay of the virtual event to gain new insights into successful approaches to cybersecurity, ranging from enterprise security measures, product security throughout the development lifecycle, and critical considerations for preparedness after an attack occurs.
