Merge Cardio support and service employee spotlight: Scott McLaney

    Merge-Headshots-Scott McLaney

Tenure at Merge: I’m proud to celebrate 20 years with Merge this year!

Professional achievements: Early in my career, I led Merge’s AIMS (Anesthesia Information Management System) division, have held roles on the solutions consultant and engineering teams, and have a passion for project management. I have successfully completed projects across Cardiology, Hemodynamics, Radiology, Imaging Suite, and migrations, which gives me a unique, broad perspective across our solutions.

Why I enjoy working with Merge Cardio and being a PM: I genuinely enjoy helping clients and supporting them through complex workflows and implementations. Being a PM allows me to build relationships, solve problems, and make a meaningful impact on their success.

Where I live: I live in Mobile, Alabama. I’ve been fortunate to travel to every U.S. state except Alaska, and I still love being on the Gulf Coast. We have some of the best fishing in the Gulf and some of the cleanest, whitest sand you’ll find anywhere. No what you enjoy, I’m only a short drive from just about everything.

Hobbies and interests: I’m a big fan of SEC football, all types of racing, fishing, and spending time with my family. My wife Nicole and I have four kids -- Hudson (2), Grayson (5), Mary Callaghan (7), and Cooper (9). I love watching them play sports and I’ve coached T-Ball and soccer so far.

Bucket list: My biggest goal is to travel with my family and see as much of the world as we can over the years.
