Merge LIVE: Join us for Mardi Gras with Merge

Written by Paul Barnes | May 15, 2026 1:29:41 PM

Hi Merge community,

We’re now just a couple weeks away from the return of Merge LIVE, our annual user conference coming to New Orleans. This year’s show is shaping up to be something special – from presentations by Merge customers and the opening keynote from physician futurist and AI enthusiast Dr. Harvey Castro, to office hour sessions and discussions with Dr. Chopra and Dr. Kalathiveetil on the biggest imaging questions and challenges on your mind, and a first look at this year’s launch of Merge Imaging Suite in the cloud. There is a lot for you to look forward to and bring home to your organization.

Did I mention the Merge Mardi Gras? On Tuesday night a jazzy second line parade will escort us all from the hotel to our annual customer appreciation event, where you get to unwind, share stories, and network with peers and Merge leaders alike – all over drinks, food, and a night of bowling! What could be better?

There’s still time, so if you haven’t already, make sure to save your spot here. We know travel is very tricky right now and it’s asking a lot for you to leave your families and coworkers for three days, but trust us, we think this will be worth the trip. I can’t wait to see you there!

Tomer Talk: How the cloud is delivering simplicity and reliability to enterprise imaging

Healthcare providers aren’t necessarily looking for cloud, but they are looking for solutions that deliver simplicity and reliability to help meet steep challenges – and cloud can help facilitate those outcomes. Tomer Levy, SVP of Product Development, recently penned a piece about how Merge Imaging Suite is delivering on this goal. It can help healthcare organizations transition to a hybrid-cloud environment where they can begin offloading imaging workloads into the cloud to save costs and take advantage of anywhere, anytime, image access – all at their pace, on their timeline.
