Expired certificates are causing Microsoft Word integration issues
Flashes (Alerts)
Abstract
Features that require integration between Merative ™ Social Program Management and Microsoft Word are not functioning correctly in Internet Explorer. The problem has occurred since early November 2017 because of issues with expired certificates.
Content
The issues with expired certificates prevent the following features from functioning correctly:
- Creating a document by using a template
- Opening and modifying existing documents
- As a case worker, using the appeals clause picker when creating appeals documents
- As an administrator, creating templates and creating placeholders within the templates
The issue affects users who are using the Merative Social Program Management application in Internet Explorer. The issue does not affect users who are using the Merative Social Program Management application in Chrome.
To resolve the issue, you must install updated jar files that contain resigned certificates. The Merative Social Program Management development team has generated the required jar files, that you can request through the normal support channels.
The updated jar files that contain resigned certificates are also included in Merative Social Program Management version 7.0.2 iFix 1.
