What's new for all users

Enhanced Performance

Merative Integrated Care

Data compression is now enabled to significantly reduce the application data. Due to enhanced caching, the time application pages take to load after initial log in is reduced by approximately 90% on all supported web browsers due enhanced caching (with exception of Microsoft Internet Explorer 11).

What's new for care teams

Enhanced tracking of a client's care team history

Merative Integrated Care

So that you can understand which care team members are involved in managing a client’s care, a history of all previous and current care team members is now available. You can see all care team members who are currently involved in the client’s care management, determine who has a primary role, and see their relationship to the client. A change history displays a history of updates made to the care team members’ details, including when a member was added, updated, or removed from the care team. The change history updates each time you update a care team member. You can also see previous care team members and their respective change history.

Enhanced Share Care Plan PDF

Merative Integrated Care

Care team members will be able to download an updated summary of a client’s care plan and share it with the care team, client, or external parties. The updated summary will inform care team members about a client’s care plan status and help the care team to make informed decisions about a client’s care. The following sections of the Share Care Plan PDF that is generated for a client will be updated:

  • Conditions
  • Goals
  • Client Actions
  • Care Team Actions
  • Services
  • Barriers
  • Care Team
  • Social Network Contacts
  • Programs
  • Assessments
  • Allergies
  • Medications
  • Recent Vitals

In addition, a new Services section is added.

Medication, condition and allergy searches

Merative Integrated Care

So that you can more easily record a medication, condition, or allergy, you can now search for it by name and select from search results instead of manually entering the name. With terminology search, when you search for data by name, Merative Integrated Care searches a coded list of values and you select the name from your results.

Viewing the context of a goal or action

Merative Integrated Care

When you add progress or complete a goal or an action, you can now see the goal or the action name so that you can easily identify its context.

What's new for administrators

Upgrading the default Share Care Plan template

Merative Integrated Care

So that care teams can assess a client’s progress in share care plans, you can now upgrade the default share care plan template to a new enhanced format. The new share care plan format includes a new Services section, some updates to section names, and progress notes for goals and actions. Existing templates remain unchanged unless you copy or edit them. If you copy or edit an existing template, Merative Integrated Care applies the new share care plan format to the template.

Configuring share care plan section attribute criteria

Merative Integrated Care

So that only the most relevant client information for a client is displayed in a share care plan, you can now apply attribute criteria to each section of a share care plan template. By applying attribute criteria, you can control which attributes and records are displayed in which section of a share care plan when it is generated by the care team.

What's new for integrations and APIs

Viewing a client's consent status in search results

Merative Integrated Care

So that you are aware if a client has provided consent for their data to be shared, when you search for the client in Merative Integrated Care, you can now see their consent status. This update is available only if Merative Integrated Care is integrated with Connect 360.

Viewing information subcategories in the Virtual Client Record

Merative Integrated Care

So that you can see a client’s information grouped into logical sections, further subcategories of information are now available within a category in the Virtual Client Record. This update is available only if Merative Integrated Care is integrated with Connect 360.

What's new for providers

Usability updates

Connect Providers

To improve your user experience when you use Connect, the following updates are now available:

  • Previously, if the Google Maps service failed for any reason, no message was displayed. Now, you cannot view the Google Maps, or find and add a location because the Google Maps service failed, a message is displayed.
  • So that you do not encounter delays with receiving payments for services, if you remove Merative Integrated Care permissions from your PayPal business account in PayPal (either intentionally or accidentally), you now receive a notification to remind you to set up your PayPal business account again.
  • Previously, when there was a delay in loading page content due to network connectivity issues or for another reason, no message was displayed. So that you are aware that the content is loading, a spinner icon now displays on the page until the content loads.

Resolved issues

Merative Integrated Care

  • At the end of your business day, if you do not close the browser tab that the Merative Integrated Care application is running in, then you return to the browser tab more than 12 hours later and try to log in, an error message displays. To sign in, open the URL for the Merative Integrated Care application and log in as normal. The Merative Integrated Care URL is provided to you by your organization and you may have previously bookmarked it. To avoid this issue, ensure that you always close the browser tab that Merative Integrated Care is open in at the end of your business day. (248616, 248980)
  • When setting your password, you cannot use the @ symbol unless you combine it with another special character, for example, !#$%. (247885, 244434)
  • If you add a consent attachment to a consent record that exceeds 25 MB, an error displays. (248200)
  • When you view your shortlisted services from the Community Resources page, an error message displays. (250227)
  • Do not use the Notes API for external systems integrations with Merative Integrated Care. There are technical issues with this API and it is currently not advised for use. (245994, 245992, 245989)
  • If you configure a new version of an assessment or questionnaire, your new version and previous versions do not display when you expand the assessment or questionnaire in the administration application. (245829)

Reporting

  • A New Query data item incorrectly displays in the Care Team data set in the Individuals folder. Do not use this data item in reports. (243987)
  • If you create a report that contains Individuals data, the report shows only Active individuals, Inactive individuals do not display. (249156)
  • Do not use the report called Report view of Notes AT3. list of notes with… date by program, care manager listed in the Team content > Merative Integrated Care > Reports folder. (243592)
  • When you create a report that contains client’s identification data, some data is not displayed when it was received from a system integrated with Merative Integrated Care. (252089, INC1083424)
  • When you create a report that includes completed questionnaires, the status of the questionnaire incorrectly displays Script in Progress. (251358, INC1124329).

Merative Integrated Care Connect Providers

  • The Configured Support Contact email is not displaying on the Connect Providers User Agreement. However, the Configured Support Contact phone number is displayed. To ensure that users can contact support, ensure that you configure a Support Contact phone number. (234127).

Merative Integrated Care Connect Individuals

  • When onboarding a new client or provider to Connect, you might encounter an intermittent error message when you confirm your identity. The error message says there was an issue when checking your identity and suggests you try again or contact your care for help. Despite the message, the system confirms your identity and sends you an email with the subject “WHC password change” that allows you to set a password to complete the onboarding process. (246385)

Known Issues

Merative Integrated Care

  • When you add a user to an organization unit, if you search for a user with multiple assigned workspaces, the user is not returned in the search results unless you search for the user’s default workspace. The user should be returned if you search for any of their workspaces. (243934)
  • By default, Merative Integrated Care uses cookies to improve your user experience. When signing in for the first time, your cookie options are not automatically displayed. To prevent cookies from being stored, select Cookie Preferences from the menu next to your name on the menu bar. (252480)
  • Do not use the Configuration Clone pages in the Administrator workspace. The feature is incorrectly enabled and is not intended for use. (251219).
  • If organization units are turned on, when adding a user to an organization, an incorrect label name Security role is displayed instead of Workspaces. The user search will only search for a users default workspace instead of all users assigned workspaces. To avoid this issue search by the users name instead.(242820).
  • If you register a client in Merative Integrated Care, and Merative Integrated Care is integrated with Connect360, Connect360 checks for a match. If no match is found, the client is automatically registered in Connect360. If you subsequently search for the client in Merative Integrated Care and Connect360, the search results indicate that the client is registered in both applications. However, if you then open the client’s Virtual Client Record, an inaccurate error message displays. (242258)
  • The following issue affects some but not all customers integrated with Connect 360. Customers affected have been contacted. If you have not been contacted about this issue, it does not apply to your set up. Extended client search to Connect360 does not work correctly for some customers in certain circumstances. When searching Connect360 for a client by their email address, phone number, or external system reference identification type only, the client is not returned in the search results. As a workaround, provide extra search criteria when you search for a client like Name, Date of Birth, or SSN (Last four digits). (253560, INC1231715)
  • For systems integrated with EPM, the alert triggered when EPM returns Risk Scores to Merative Integrated Care may contain some inaccurate information. The alert indicates that the client has been matched on the EPM system and clinical data has been received by Merative Integrated Care. However, this may not be the case as Risk scores are automatically generated for any client received by EPM even if the client was not matched on EPM. (223580)
  • When you filter Notes Highlights for the last month, highlights from over a month ago are displayed in addition to highlights for the last month. (245154)
  • If your access to a client was removed before the monthly update of Merative Integrated Care, and you request emergency access after Merative Integrated Care is updated and try to view the client’s care team, an error message displays. (252247)
  • If you click the Onboard Third-Party SSO User link in the Security Administrator workspace, an error displays. (250276)
  • Do not create goals from the plan workspace. There is an issue with the display of sources (if configured) when editing goals that are created from a plan. To avoid this issue, create goals from the Goals list page only. (253425, INC1194410)

User experience issues when signing in

Reporting

  • When you create a report that contains client actions data, progress values for the client actions do not display. (248753)
  • If you create a report that contains notes and notes comments data, an error displays. (250109)
  • When you create a report that contains assessments or questionnaire data, inconsistent report data is generated, for example, some data is repeated and some data is missing. (240244)
  • If you create a report that contains notes data, the report shows only notes for clients who have an associated program. It does not display data for clients who have no associated program but who have at least one note. (239618)
  • When you create a goals report that contains barrier data, the barrier data does not display in the report. (248752)
  • Identification type names received from systems integrated with Merative Integrated Care (via an API) incorrectly display in reports as EMR Identification Type. The correct identification type names, as received via the API, are visible on the Identifications page in the Care Team workspace. (245168)
  • The reporting application is treating Allergy names as case-sensitive, for example, when you generate a report of the number of clients with specific allergy types, allergy names in different cases are being considered as two different allergies. (224396)
  • If you create a report that contains Individuals data, the report shows only Active individuals, Inactive individuals do not display. (249156)
  • Duplicate rows displays when you create a report that contains care team actions. (247753)
  • Source and data source data does not display when you create vitals reports. (248435)
  • Questionnaire reports do not always display the latest answers to conditional questions. This issue occurs if a care manager saves a draft questionnaire that contains answers to conditional questions and later changes the answers to the questions. To avoid this issue, the care manager must complete the questionnaire without saving. (249005, TS002362802)
  • When client data type record is deleted in the Care Team application, it incorrectly displays in existing reports until a new client data record of the same type is created or updated. (248486, 248483, 248444, 248440, 248421)
  • When a care manager updates a clinical data or vitals data record in the care team application, instead of the record updating in existing reports, a new record incorrectly displays.(248438)
  • Do not save custom reports or dashboards in the Team content -> Merative Integrated Care folder. If you do this, your content will be deleted with the next monthly update of Reporting. To avoid this issue, save your content in a child folder of Team content, or in the My content folder or its child folders. (249596)

Merative Integrated Care Community Services Payment

  • If you are using payments, do not use 2 weekly or 4 weekly services. There is an issue with payment calculations for services with frequencies of 2 weekly and 4 weekly. (242597)

Merative Integrated Care Connect Providers

  • When you view the terms and conditions and click either of the two country-specific (U.K. and U.S) links, the Merative Cloud Services Agreement for that country should open. Instead, an error message displays. As a workaround, to view the agreement for your country, go to this link: Cloud Services Agreement and select the name of your country. (246590)
  • If you close your Connect account, a message displays to confirm that your account is closed. If open the Connect URL in the same browser tab and attempt to log in with different credentials, the same message displays. To login as a different user, clear your browser cache before you open the Connect URL and log in as normal. (248112)
  • When onboarding, if you double-click Continue when confirming your secret code, a misleading error message displays. The message indicates that there was an issue checking your identity and instructs you to try again or contact your care for help. Ignore this message. Merative Integrated Care confirms your secret code and sends you an email with the subject “WHC password change” that allows you to set a password to complete the onboarding process. (249825)
  • When you receive an email from Merative Integrated Care in relation to an enquiry and click on a URL in the email, an error message displays. To see the enquiry, sign in to the Connect Provider application and go to the Enquiries page. (249159)
  • At the end of your business day, if you do not close the browser tab that the Connect application is running in, then you return to the browser tab more than 12 hours later and try to log in, an error message displays. To sign in, open the URL for the Connect application and log in as normal. The Connect URL is provided in the email sent to you by your organization when you set up your account for the first time, and you may have previously bookmarked it. To avoid this issue, ensure that you always close the browser tab that Connect is open in at the end of your business day. (249292)
  • If you open your Connect URL and do not sign in, the sign-in page expires after 30 minutes. If you return to the expired page after 12 hours and attempt to sign in by entering your credentials, an error message displays. To sign in, reopen your Connect URL in a new tab and log in as normal. (252906)

Merative Integrated Care Connect Individuals

  • If you close your Connect account, a message displays to confirm that your account is closed. If open the Connect URL in the same browser tab and attempt to log in with different credentials, the same message displays. To login as a different user, clear your browser cache before you open the Connect URL and log in as normal. (248112)
  • When onboarding, if you double-click Continue when confirming your date of birth, a misleading error message displays. The message indicates that there was an issue checking your identity and instructs you to try again or contact your care for help. Ignore this message. Merative Integrated Care confirms your secret code and sends you an email with the subject “WHC password change” that allows you to set a password to complete the onboarding process. (249825)
  • At the end of your business day, if you do not close the browser tab that the Connect application is running in, then you return to the browser tab more than 12 hours later and try to log in, an error message displays. To sign in, open the URL for the Connect application and log in as normal. The Connect URL is provided in the email sent to you by your organization when you set up your account for the first time and you may have previously bookmarked it. To avoid this issue, at the end of your business day, ensure that you always close the browser tab that Connect is open in. (249292)
  • The Search button does not work when you attempt to find services. To search for a service, press Enter on your keyboard after you enter the name of the service in the Search for field. (250890)
  • The Password Set or Reset email that Merative Integrated Care sends to Connect users does not display the client’s name. Instead of the client’s name, NA displays in the subject and body of the email. NA also displays in the body of the password change confirmation email instead of the client’s name. (250881, 249833)
  • If you open your Connect URL and do not sign in, the sign-in page expires after 30 minutes. If you return to the expired page after 12 hours and attempt to sign in by entering your credentials, an error message displays. To sign in, reopen your Connect URL in a new tab and log in as normal. (252906)
