Introduction

Welcome to the May release of Merative Integrated Care. The Care team can now search for community services and providers with available resources. Providers can add and update resource availability information for their services. The Care team can capture an external client's consent. The provider registry, service library categories and units pages display external system reference. A set of inbound APIs allows customers using large external provider registries to integrate provider registry data with Merative Integrated Care. In addition, there is new functionality in Reporting.

What's new for care teams

Community Resources

Merative Integrated Care

So that you are aware which providers have availability before you contact them to secure the service for your client, you can search for community services with available resources. Additional filters are available in the Community Resource search so you can filter on resource category, availability, resource gender & client type.

External Client Search

Merative Integrated Care

So that you can capture consent for a client in an external system, when a client is returned in the search results using the External Client Search, you can select to update consent. You are navigated to an external system where you can capture or update consent for the selected client.

What's new for administrators

Change management

Merative Integrated Care

Administrators can now add a comment to document what they have changed when activating an Assessment, Questionnaire, or a Client Data version.

Resource management

Merative Integrated Care

So that providers can add resource information to their services in Connect P, you can now configure resource categories and associate them with service types. You can also configure a list of client types, which providers can select to indicate the eligibility criteria for a group of resources. So that care teams can filter the Community Resources search results based on resource availability and other resource attributes, you can configure resource filters.

Provider registry data

Merative Integrated Care

We are releasing a set of inbound APIs that enable Merative Integrated Care customers that are using large external registries to receive provider registry data from external systems and integrate such data with Merative Integrated Care.  The external registry can send a copy of their community service providers to Merative Integrated Care, and this external provider data will then be available for care team members to access and add to individual plans. The external registry data can be accessed only in a read-only format in Merative Integrated Care, as changes must be made by the external system.

Provider APIs

Merative Integrated Care

The Provider APIs can enable Merative Integrated Care customers to integrate an external registry with Merative Integrated Care. So that administrators are aware where external registry data came from and when it was created/updated by an external system via API, the provider registry and services library pages in tenant admin display external system reference, source and original source (if configured), added on and updated on details where applicable.

What's new for connect providers

Merative Integrated Care

Connect Providers

You can now add resource information to your services in Connect P, if configured by your administrator. You can create a group of resources, for example Beds, and indicate the location and eligibility criteria for the resource group. You can indicate which resources are available, and for any unavailable resources, you can add an assigned client, start and end date, and additional details for that resource. Care team members can view your total available resources for each resource group you add when searching for services in the care team application.

What's new for reporting

Cognos upgrade

Reporting

To improve your user experience, the Reporting application will be upgraded to Cognos Analytics 11.1.7 (from v11.1.6) during May 2021.
Existing Merative Integrated Care reports, dashboards, and data are unaffected by these updates. Your custom reports and dashboards are also unaffected.

For more information on new and changed features in IBM Cognos Analytics 11.1.7, see the IBM Cognos Analytics documentation.

Note that the new Cognos 11.1.7 feature Cognos Analytics for Mobile will not be made available to Merative Integrated Care users. This is to maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations concerning PHI data.

For those customers who are using Using Cognos APIs to retrieve report data, the position of the XSRF-TOKEN has changed from position 7 to 6 in the cookie.txt file when using the APIs against the Client host name. See Authenticating to the IBM Cognos APIs.

Previous position:
xsrf=`grep XSRF cookie.txt | awk '{print $7}'`
New position:
xsrf=`grep XSRF cookie.txt | awk '{print $6}'`

Client Status History

Reporting

So that you can report on an individual's status history, we have added a Client Status History table to the individual folder and the individuals not in programs folder. This table can be used with the individuals table or the individuals not in programs table to report on a client's status changes, for example, when and why a client was deactivated.

External user role

Reporting

So that you can include the external role of the care team member in reports, all the Care Team, Users and Primary Care Team Member tables in the Merative Integrated Care reporting folders have been updated to include a new external role data item.

Add security role

Reporting

So that you can include the security role of the care team member in reports, all the Care Team, Users and Primary Care Team Member tables in the Merative Integrated Care reporting folders are updated to include a new security role data item.

Resolved issues

Merative Integrated Care

  • When client data is received through an API, no value displays in the Updated By field.  The Updated By field should display External System User when the data is received from an external system.  (INC3186804, 266755)
  • When you filter Notes Highlights for the last month, highlights from over a month ago are displayed in addition to highlights for the last month. (245154)
  • When selecting to show or hide a source or original source system in the Administration workspace, in some instances, an incorrect error message with invalid codes is displayed. Ignore this message and continue to show or hide the selected value. (261380)

Known Issues

Merative Integrated Care

  • If you try to complete certain actions, for example, create a referral or assign a program, and you do not have access to the client, you cannot complete the action and no error message is displayed. If you are sure that you need access to the client, either request emergency access to the client or ask a care team member to add you to the client's care team. (259832)
  • If you edit a date data attribute for a client data type, and select Current Date Comparison, then Custom Message, and enter an incorrect message ID, the custom message fields are no longer visible. To see the fields, select None, then re-select Current Date Comparison and Custom Message. (264393)
  • When you configure a client data attribute to not use the default value, the value is still visible to care team members. As a workaround, care team members can delete the default value and enter another value. (263255)
  • When you configure an information message for a client data type cluster, the message is displayed twice. To avoid this, you can add a description to the data cluster instead of an information message. The description displays to care team members below the cluster title. (263229)
  • If you delete a data attribute from a client data type and that attribute was used in a duplicate validation, the validation is not automatically deleted. If you encounter this issue, you can manually delete the validation. (264986).

Reporting

  • Assessment and questionnaire data is directly linked to each client.
  • When SSO is enabled, if you sign out of the reporting application, you are automatically signed back in. If you experience this issue, sign out of the Merative Integrated Care application, then sign out of the reporting application. (263876)
  • When you create a report that contains program data, the program name  displayed may not be the current program name. If the program name was updated in the Merative Integrated Care tenant admin application since the client was assigned the program and no updates have been made to the client's program record, the previous program name displays. To update the program name for the client, add a comment to the program. (270444)

Connect 360

  • When you search for a client in both systems a misleading error message is intermittently displayed. The message indicates that the search results show only clients. The message displays  only when the client you searched for was originally registered in and subsequently registered in Connect 360 automatically. Ignore this message, the client exists in both systems and is shown in the search results as expected. (256209, 252716)

Merative Integrated Care  Connect Provider

  • The Offer Expired icon does not display on the Inquiries card on the Inquiries list as expected. If you click the Inquiries card, the Offer Expired icon then appears on the card and in the details panel.  (270708)
