A new Resource Category field is available that you can use to request a resource category when you inquire about a service for your client. Your administrator must configure the new Resource Category. So that you can view the resources allocated by a provider to an inquiry, new fields for Resource Category, Group, Location and Number of Resources are displayed when you accept the offer and add it to the plan, where the provider has allocated a resource to the offer. So that you can easily navigate and view the inquiry offer information, including resource information, associated with a service on the plan, a new inquiry link has been added to the service list page and home page.
Provider inquiry APIs
Merative Integrated Care
Assuming your organization has enabled external inquiries, care managers can create a provider service inquiry for a client in Merative Integrated Care. An external system that is interested in viewing, managing, and responding to the provider service inquiry for the client can retrieve the inquiry by API. If the external system responds to the inquiry, the response is updated on the inquiries list page. Customers can either use the Connect P inquiries flow or the external registry inquiries flow, but not both.

What's new for integrations and APIs
Provider inquiry APIs
Merative Integrated Care
Following on from the release of the Provider Registry API's in 21:05, we are now releasing a set of Provider Inquiry APIs to enable customers who are using an external registry to manage their providers to access provider service inquiries for a client. The Provider inquiry APIs send a notification to an external system when provider service inquiries are created for a client in Merative Integrated Care once they have subscribed to the inquiry webhook notifications. The external system can then call back and retrieve the details of the inquiry. The external system can also send a response to the inquiry to Merative Integrated Care. This means that the external system will be able to view and manage a client's provider service inquires and the external system can update the inquiries and send the update to Merative Integrated Care so that the care team is aware of the provider's response.
Provider registry APIs
Merative Integrated Care
The Inbound Provider Registry APIs enable Merative Integrated Care customers who are using large external registries to receive provider registry data from external systems and integrate such data with Merative Integrated Care. We enhanced these APIs to allow an external registry to reopen a service offering for a provider using an API.
Provider inquiries
Merative Integrated Care
So that external systems can update the status of an external inquiry via API, we are introducing a configurable list page of inquiry statuses. External organizations can create, edit and delete inquiry statuses to suit the needs of their organization. When sending an inquiry status as an API attribute, the external system identifies the inquiry status by its external system reference.
Configuring progress values
Merative Integrated Care
So that care teams can record progress for goals and actions, using relevant progress values for your organization, you can configure the label of the existing progress values, according to your organization's requirements. The existing out of the box progress values are available and enabled by default. Progress value configurations for goals and actions are not yet available in the Integrated Care reporting application. Do not create new configurations if you are running reports on this area.
Configuring categories for actions
Merative Integrated Care
To enable care team members to create and edit actions, you can configure a library of categories for actions by using relevant categories for your organization. The existing out of the box category values are available and enabled by default. Action category configurations are not yet available in the Integrated Care reporting application. Do not create new configurations if you are running reports on this area.
Configuring outcomes for actions
Merative Integrated Care
To enable care team members to complete and update completion details for actions, you can configure a library a library of outcomes for actions by using relevant categories for your organization. The existing out of the box outcome values are available and enabled by default. Action outcome configurations are not yet available in the Integrated Care reporting application. Do not create new configurations if you are running reports on this area.
Configuring outcomes for goals
Merative Integrated Care
To enable care team members to complete and update completion details for goals, you can configure a library of outcomes for goals by using relevant categories for your organization. The existing out of the box outcome values are available and enabled by default. Goal outcome configurations are not yet available in the Integrated Care reporting application. Do not create new configurations if you are running reports on this area.
New emergency access table
Reporting
So that you can report on who requested emergency access to a client, we added an emergency access table to the individual folder. This table can be used with the individuals table to report on which users have requested emergency access to a client and when the request was made.
New reason fields character limit
Reporting
So that you can more accurately report on the goals, care team and client actions, we increased the character limit in the Integrated Care reporting application for the reason fields to match the character limit in the application.
New individual demographics folder
Reporting
Previously when creating reports using the data items in the individual demographics table such as an individuals name or address, the reporting user could not tell when these records were created or updated. We added a number of updates to the individual demographics folder. In this folder, the reporting user can create reports that detail when attributes such as address, email, phone, identification, marital status, name, gender or date of birth/death for an individual have been created, updated or deleted.
Updating the referral reporting table
Reporting
So that you can report on where a referral came from, we updated the referral reporting table to include the source system and original source system data items. These can be used on referral reports to understand where the referral originated from.
Reporting
When you create a report that contains assessments or questionnaire data, inconsistent data is generated. For example, the incorrect answer may display against the questionnaire or assessment. (261299).
Merative Integrated Care Connect Provider
- The Offer Expired icon does not display on the Inquiries card on the Inquiries list as expected. If you click the Inquiries card, the Offer Expired icon then appears on the card and in the details panel. (270708)
Merative Integrated Care
- If you try to complete certain actions, for example, create a referral or assign a program, and you do not have access to the client, you cannot complete the action and no error message is displayed. If you are sure that you need access to the client, either request emergency access to the client or ask a care team member to add you to the client's care team. (259832)
- If you edit a date data attribute for a client data type, and select Current Date Comparison, then Custom Message, and enter an incorrect message ID, the custom message fields are no longer visible. To see the fields, select None, then re-select Current Date Comparison and Custom Message. (264393)
- When you configure a client data attribute to not use the default value, the value is still visible to care team members. As a workaround, care team members can delete the default value and enter another value. (263255)
- When you configure an information message for a client data type cluster, the message is displayed twice. To avoid this, you can add a description to the data cluster instead of an information message. The description displays to care team members below the cluster title. (263229)
- If you delete a data attribute from a client data type and that attribute was used in a duplicate validation, the validation is not automatically deleted. If you encounter this issue, you can manually delete the validation. (264986).
- When you configure the Pending action outcome with a display value of Shown, an action can not be completed when care team members select Pending as the outcome. To avoid this, do not set the Pending action outcome to Shown. (272034)
- When you configure the Pending goal outcome with a display value of Shown, goal completion details are not displayed when care team members select Pending as the outcome. To avoid this, do not set the Pending goal outcome to Shown. (272034)
- When sending an inquiry for a service where resource categories have been configured by your administrator, ensure to select at least one resource category so that providers can allocate resources to the inquiry offer. Otherwise the provider will not have the option allocate a resource to the inquiry in the Connect P application. (271990)
Reporting
- When SSO is enabled, if you sign out of the reporting application, you are automatically signed back in. If you experience this issue, sign out of the Merative Integrated Care application, then sign out of the reporting application. (263876)
- When you create a report that contains program data, the program name displayed may not be the current program name. If the program name was updated in the Merative Integrated Care tenant admin application since the client was assigned the program and no updates have been made to the client's program record, the previous program name displays. To update the program name for the client, add a comment to the program. (270444)
Connect 360
- When you search for a client in both systems a misleading error message is intermittently displayed. The message indicates that the search results show only clients. The message displays only when the client you searched for was originally registered in and subsequently registered in Connect 360 automatically. Ignore this message, the client exists in both systems and is shown in the search results as expected. (256209, 252716)
Merative Integrated Care Connect Provider
- When the care team member does not select a resource category when sending an inquiry, the Manage Resources cluster is hidden and it's not possible to allocate a resource to the inquiry. If you encounter this issue, you can navigate to the Resources for the requested service, navigate to the resource group and the resource(s) that you want to allocate to the inquiry, manually update the status of the resource(s) to Unavailable, and enter the Inquiry reference in the Additional information field.
