Enquiry updated to US spelling
Merative Integrated Care Reporting Connect Providers
Previously, the UK spelling of the word 'Inquiry' and its variations was used across Merative Integrated Care applications instead of the US spelling. Throughout the relevant applications and Merative Integrated Care documentation, all occurrences of the words 'Enquiry' and 'Enquiries' are now replaced with 'Inquiry' and 'Inquiries'.
Referred by name shown on referrals lists
Merative Integrated Care
So that you know who to contact about a referral if you need more information, you can now see the name of the care team member who referred the client (if configured). The name is shown on your Open Referrals and Open Unassigned Referrals lists. Note: Your administrator must configure the referred by data to display on your referrals lists.
New filter option
Merative Integrated Care
A new filter option called Primary Care Team Member is now available to apply to your My Clients list. You can use this filter to show all clients for whom you are the primary care team member. By using this filter, you can more easily distinguish between clients in whose care you have a lead role and clients in whose care you have a secondary role.
Referred by name shown on referrals lists
Merative Integrated Care
So that you know who to contact about a referral if you need more information, you can now see the name of the care team member who referred the client (if configured). The name is shown on your Open Assigned Referrals and Open Unassigned Referrals lists. . Note: Your administrator must configure the referred by data to display on your referrals lists.
Configuring the display of Referred By data
Merative Integrated Care
To help care teams and supervisors to manage referrals more efficiently, you can now configure referred by information to display on the following lists:
- Open Unassigned Referrals list (Care Team and Supervisor workspaces)
- My Open Referrals list (Care Team workspace)
- Open Unassigned Referrals list (Supervisor workspace).
You will be able to show or hide the information in columns or in the expanded view of the lists.
New Custom Client Data
Reporting
The following new data is now added to the Custom Client Data folder:
- For consistency with Merative Integrated Care, the related person attributes for custom client data that were introduced in your December update are now available in Reporting. If a related person attribute exists on a custom client data type, custom client data reports now display the attribute name and the value recorded.
- A new data set called Related Person is now available. You can use this data set to display the demographics details of the related person in custom client data reports.
Previously, custom client data reports displayed only Address cluster labels for a data type. A new data item called Cluster Name is now available so that you can display all cluster names that are configured for a client data type, including Address. The existing Address Cluster data item is now deprecated and will be removed in a future update. Important: If you want to display only the address cluster name in a report, add the Cluster Name column to the report. Then filter the column to display the appropriate Address Cluster Name label.
New Tag data
Reporting
In your last update of Reporting, we added tag data to multiple folders so that you can create reports that include a client's tag information, for example, Student. In this update, the Individual Tags data set is now available in the following remaining folders:
- Barriers
- Budget
- Clinical Data
- Consent
- Coverage
- Services
- Utilization
This means that when you create reports by using data from any Reporting folders, you will be able to include a client's tag information in the reports.
Address display update
Reporting
Previously, when used in reports, the Address data item in the Individual Demographics data sets displayed only the latest address that was recorded for the client. The address that is displayed now matches the address that is shown throughout Merative Integrated Care for the client, for example, in their Context pane and share care plan report.
Increased character limit for assessment and questionnaire answers
Reporting
Previously, in assessment and questionnaire reports, the maximum number of characters shown for multi-line answers was 2000. If a client's answer to a question exceeded 2000 characters, you could not see their full response in reports. The character limit for multi-line answers is now increased from 2000 to 4000 to match the limit in Merative Integrated Care.
Retrieving report data through IBM Cognos APIs
Reporting
You will be able retrieve report data from Merative Integrated Care Reporting by using IBM Cognos APIs. To do this, you must request that Cognos APIs be turned on for their organization by submitting a case on the Merative Support Portal. To make the request, you must be a Reporting Security Administrator.
A Cognos API user account will be designated to you by Merative Support so that you can authenticate and start using the APIs.
The Merative Integrated Care documentation is now updated with the process you must follow to start using the IBM Cognos APIs with the Reporting application.
What's new for integrations and APIs
Updated API
Merative Integrated Care
- Custom Client Data API - The Custom Client Data API is now updated. By using the API, you can share related person information between Merative Integrated Care and external systems. Note: A related person attribute must be configured for the custom client data type. Users of the external system and Merative Integrated Care can view the custom client data records and have a more complete view of the client's context.
Merative Integrated Care
- If you activate a client data type for the first time with an effective from date in the future, an error is displayed on the client's Data page. To avoid this, create your client data types on the date they are effective from, so the date isn't in the future. (262482)
- On pages with Date fields, the default date reflects the Merative Integrated Care server time zone (Greenwich Mean Time) instead of your preferred time zone if different, for example, Eastern Time. This means that when the server date moves to the next day, the default date value is the current date plus one. You can change the current date based on your preferred time zone, if needed. In addition, date time fields for custom client data, assessment notes, and laboratory tests incorrectly default to 12:00 AM and not the current time in your preferred time zone. (INC3121692, 267039, 267001, 266922, 266916)
Reporting
- If you create a custom client data report, blank values are displayed in the attribute name column if the custom client data type includes a related person attribute. You can filter on the column to exclude the null values. (266014)
- The help icon is not displayed when you log in to the reporting application. To see the help icon, click the area to the right of the user icon in the application toolbar. The help icon becomes available. (263869)
Merative Integrated Care Connect Providers
- If you use Connect Providers in a time zone that is different from the Merative Integrated Care server time zone (Greenwich Mean Time), the date-related fields in the Inquiry pages may show one day before the accurate day. Fields that display both the date and the time are unaffected. (267082)
Merative Integrated Care
- When you filter Notes Highlights for the last month, highlights from over a month ago are displayed in addition to highlights for the last month. (245154)
- If you try to complete certain actions, for example, create a referral or assign a program, and you do not have access to the client, you cannot complete the action and no error message is displayed. If you are sure that you need access to the client, either request emergency access to the client or ask a care team member to add you to the client's care team. (259832)
- When selecting to show or hide a source or original source system in the Administration workspace, in some instances, an incorrect error message with invalid codes is displayed. Ignore this message and continue to show or hide the selected value. (261380)
- If you edit a date data attribute for a client data type, and select Current Date Comparison, then Custom Message, and enter an incorrect message ID, the custom message fields are no longer visible. To see the fields, select None, then re-select Current Date Comparison and Custom Message. (264393)
- When you configure a client data attribute to not use the default value, the value is still visible to care team members. As a workaround, care team members can delete the default value and enter another value. (263255)
- When you configure an information message for a client data type cluster, the message is displayed twice. To avoid this, you can add a description to the data cluster instead of an information message. The description displays to care team members below the cluster title. (263229)
- When adding or editing a data attribute of type Boolean or Date, for a client data type, you must click Save twice to save the record. (262898)
- If you delete a data attribute from a client data type and that attribute was used in a duplicate validation, the validation is not automatically deleted. If you encounter this issue, you can manually delete the validation. (264986).
Reporting
- If you create a report that contains height data, measurement time data is not displayed. (250238)
Assessment and questionnaire data is directly linked to each client. - When you create a report that contains assessment or questionnaire data, and program data, the assessment or questionnaire data is displayed for all programs to which the client is assigned. This behavior occurs regardless of whether the program contains that particular assessment or questionnaire content. (261299)
- When you create assessment and questionnaires reports and include Assessments by Program data items or Questionnaires by Program Name data items, no data is displayed. (INC2413936, 261278)
- When SSO is enabled, if you sign out of the reporting application, you are automatically signed back in. If you experience this issue, sign out of the Merative Integrated Care application, then sign out of the reporting application. (263876)
- When you create Individuals reports that include the Last Successful Login data item from the Care Team data set, no data displays. (264941)
Connect 360
- When you search for a client in both systems a misleading error message is intermittently displayed. The message indicates that the search results show only clients. The message displays only when the client you searched for was originally registered in and subsequently registered in Connect 360 automatically. Ignore this message, the client exists in both systems and is shown in the search results as expected. (256209, 252716)
