What's new for all users

Bookmarking application pages after sign-in

Merative Integrated Care

Previously, you could bookmark only the Merative Integrated Care application URL that was shared with you by your organization. In addition to the Merative Integrated Care application URL, you can now bookmark any other page in the application after you sign in.

What's new for care teams

Role-based access control update

Merative Integrated Care

So that you have a view of the Care Team workspace that is appropriate to your role in your organization, the initial list of role-based access control resources that were introduced in the February update of Merative Integrated Care has been extended. Your security administrator can now configure your access to the following additional actions and list pages: Register Client, Request Emergency Access, Unassigned Clients list, and Unassigned Referrals. Note: If you do not have permission to access these, you will not see them in the Care Team workspace.

Referral reason update

Merative Integrated Care

So that consistent information is shown in referrals and to make reporting on referral reasons easier, when you create a referral, you can now choose a referral reason from a list of reasons if configured by your administrator. A referral reason of ‘Other’ is available by default. If you choose this value, you can manually enter the reason.

New address type

Merative Integrated Care

So that you can record client addresses that do not conform to the other available address types, a new address type of ‘Other’ is now available to provide greater flexibility.

Barrier display update

Merative Integrated Care

So that you can take a client’s barriers into consideration when reviewing their plan, you can now see the names of open barriers on the plan workspace. By hovering on, or clicking the Barrier icon on the plan workspace content pane, a tooltip displays that shows the names of open barriers associated with a goal, action, or service on the plan.

User experience updates to searches

Merative Integrated Care

To improve your user experience, the following search updates are now available:

  • Previously, if you searched for a client and proceeded to the Request Emergency Access page, the values you entered were not automatically populated to that page. So that you do not need to manually re-enter the information, your search information now persists to the Request Emergency Access page.
  • Previously, if you searched for a care team member to register them, the values you entered were not automatically populated on the Register Care Team Member wizard. So that you do not need to manually re-enter the information, your search information now persists when you proceed to register the care team member’s details.

What's new for administrators

Removal of configurations

Merative Integrated Care

So that your organization can provide a role-appropriate view of the application, the configurations that control the display of Unassigned Referrals and Unassigned Clients lists in the Care Team workspace are now removed from the Administrator workspace. Access to these resources is now configured by security administrators as part of configuring role-based access control.

Note: Existing users who are already assigned the care team standard access security role automatically have access to the Unassigned Referrals and Unassigned Clients lists.

Configuring referral reasons

Merative Integrated Care

So that care teams can select and report on referral reasons, you can now configure a library of referral reasons.

Configuring sharing of assessment types

Merative Integrated Care

So that completed client assessments can be received by Merative Integrated Care from external systems, you can now share score only and script assessment types with external systems. When an assessment type is shared and active, you can download its API document for use by your organization’s systems integrator. The API document contains REST API calls and structure required for Care Manager to receive client information captured in respect of the assessment.

What's new for security administrators

Configuring role-based access control

Merative Integrated Care

So that your organization can provide a role-appropriate view of the application, you can now configure security roles to allow or deny access to the following new resources: Register Client, Request Emergency Access, Unassigned Clients list, and Unassigned Referrals list. You can also search for users by their security roles.

What's new for reporting

Updates to data sets

Reporting

So that you can accurately report on the progress of actions, the care team actions and client actions data sets are updated to include progress comment data and goals data for use in reports.

What's new for integrations and APIs

New APIs

Merative Integrated Care

Assessments API - A new API is available for external systems to send completed assessments captured in respect of assessment types (both script and score only) that are configured in Merative Integrated Care. When the assessment is received by Merative Integrated Care through the API, the care team can view the records and have a more complete view of the client’s context.

What's new for providers

Submitting services without a rate

Connect Providers

Previously when you submitted a service for approval, you needed to enter a description and rate. Since some provider services do not have a rate because they are funded by other means, such as Medicaid, you can now submit a service for approval without a rate. You still need to enter a description for the service.

Resolved issues

Merative Integrated Care

  • If a note creation date is not sent when notes data is shared with Care Manager via the Notes API, 2/31/0001 is displayed as the note creation date. To avoid this issue, ensure you set a note creation date when using the Notes API for integrations. (258063)
  • When you open your Merative Integrated Care URL, the Merative Integrated Care sign-in page opens. If you bookmark this URL or the URL for any other page in Merative Integrated Care, the bookmark does not work. To avoid this issue, only bookmark the Merative Integrated Care URL that is communicated to you by your organization. To do this, open your Bookmarks library in your preferred browser. Then, create a new bookmark by copying and pasting the Merative Integrated Care URL that was communicated to you by your organization. For steps to correctly create a bookmark for the Merative Integrated Care URL in your browser, see this Merative Support technote.
  • The swagger documents for the Alerts, Care Team Actions, and Referrals APIs in the product documentation include version, display, and userSelected attributes. These attributes are  redundant and are not required for use in Merative Integrated Care. Do not configure values for these attributes as they are not required for integrations. (257385)
  • If you open your Merative Integrated Care URL and do not sign in, the sign-in page expires after 30 minutes. Depending on your browser and version, an error page with a Back button might display if you try to sign in again. If you click Back and try to sign in again, another error displays. Note: If Multi-Factor Authentication is enabled for your organization, the error page displays after you enter your passcode. If you experience this issue, close your browser, reopen your Merative Integrated Care URL, and sign in as normal. (257760)

Reporting

  • Do not save custom reports or dashboards in the Team content -> Merative Integrated Care folder.  If you do this, your content is deleted with the next monthly update of Reporting. To avoid this issue, save your content in a child folder of Team content, or in the My content folder or its child folders. (249596)

Merative Integrated Care Connect Providers

  • If you open your Connect URL and do not sign in, the sign-in page expires after 30 minutes. If you return to the expired page after 12 hours and try to sign in by entering your credentials, an error message displays. If you experience this issue, close your browser, reopen your Connect URL, and sign in as normal. (252906)

Merative Integrated Care Connect Individuals

  • If you open your Connect URL and do not sign in, the sign-in page expires after 30 minutes. If you return to the expired page after 12 hours and try to sign in by entering your credentials, an error message displays. If you experience this issue, close your browser, reopen your Connect URL, and sign in as normal. (252906)

Known Issues

Merative Integrated Care

  • When you save a quick note, an inaccurate message displays saying that the touchpoint is saved regardless of whether the note type is Touchpoint. (257285)
  • When you configure a new security role, you see a Delete action that is disabled in the row level Actions menu. Ignore this action. The ability to delete a security role will be available in a future release. (259874, 258068)
  • When you filter Notes Highlights for the last month, highlights from over a month ago are displayed in addition to highlights for the last month. (245154)
  • If you try to complete certain actions, for example, create a referral or assign a program, and you do not have access to the client, you cannot complete the action and no error message is displayed. If you are sure that you need access to the client, either request emergency access to the client or ask a care team member to add you to the client’s care team. (259832)
  • If you edit a client data type in the administration workspace, and do not update its external system reference, an error is displayed that indicates that the external system reference already exists. Ensure that you edit or remove the external system reference to avoid this issue. (258577)
  • When you create a note in the Care Team workspace, in some instances, after you select a note type, an error message displays saying ‘Value must be selected’, even though you selected a value. This issue occurs when there is a problem with note type configuration. To resolve this issue, your Administrator must rename the problematic note type to another value, set it to ‘Hidden’ so that is no longer available for selection, and reconfigure the note type. (259640)
  • If an ad hoc goal and a configured goal exist with the same name, an error message displays if you complete a questionnaire or an assessment that automatically creates the configured goal.  If you experience this issue, rename the ad hoc goal and ensure that the new name is different from the configured goal. Then, re-run the questionnaire or assessment. (258915)

Reporting

  • When you create a report that contains assessments or questionnaire data, inconsistent report data is generated, for example, some data is repeated and some data is missing. (240244)
  • If you create a report that contains notes and notes comments data, an error displays.
  • The reporting application is treating Allergy names as case-sensitive, for example, when you generate a report of the number of clients with specific allergy types, allergy names in different cases are being considered as two different allergies. (224396)
  • If you create a report that contains notes data, the report shows only notes for clients who have an associated program. It does not display data for clients who have no associated program but who have at least one note. (239618)
  • If you update a condition classification in the Care Team application to a blank value, the classification value does not update in existing reports. (254482)
  • If you create a report that contains height data, measurement time data is not displayed. (250238)
  • When SSO is enabled, if you sign out of reporting and attempt to sign in again, an error message displays. If you experience this issue, click Ok in the error message to sign in again. (253903)
  • If you create a tasks report that contains Role data, NA displays instead of the name of the role that is assigned the task. (260137)

Connect 360

  • If you register a client in Merative Integrated Care, Connect 360 checks for a match and if no match is found, automatically registers the client in Connect 360. Subsequently, if you search for the client in Merative Integrated Care and Connect 360, the search results indicate that the client is registered in both applications. However, if you then open the client’s Virtual Client Record, an inaccurate error message displays. (242258)
  • When you search for a client in both systems a misleading error message is intermittently displayed. The message indicates that the search results show only Merative Integrated Care clients. The message displays  only when the client you searched for was originally registered in Merative Integrated Care and subsequently registered in Connect 360 automatically. Ignore this message, the client exists in both systems and is shown in the search results as expected. (256209, 252716)

Merative Integrated Care Community Services Payment

  • If you are using payments, do not use 2 weekly or 4 weekly services. There is an issue with payment calculations for services with frequencies of 2 weekly and 4 weekly. (242597)
