  • Zelta Services Team recognized for work to migrate 12 registry studies in nine months
  • Project empowered client autonomy with 10 fully certified study designers
  • Award highlights excellence in collaboration, execution, and strategic delivery

The Association for Clinical Data Management (ACDM) named Zelta, a leading clinical trial solution business, the winner of the 2026 Team Excellence in the Management of Clinical Data Award. Presented at the ACDM 2026 Annual Conference in Berlin, the award recognizes the team’s work with a global Clinical Research Organization (CRO) to successfully migrate 12 registry studies into the Zelta platform within a nine-month period.

The project involved transferring a complex portfolio of registry studies from a legacy electronic data capture system to Zelta under tight time and resource constraints. To achieve this, the team implemented a structured, scalable, and collaborative migration model. This approach enabled the rigorous analysis of 2,669 files and the processing of 277,214 records, resulting in the successful import of 1,548 patients. The team created 606 unique mappings to transform variable source outputs into reliable, high-quality datasets.

“Migrating studies is a monumental task for clinical data management teams and demonstrates how combining domain expertise with open communication can drive operational efficiency,” said Jennifer Duff, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Zelta. “We’re proud that this ACDM award recognizes Zelta’s commitment to delivering excellent technology and services to our clients.”

Beyond the technical execution, the Zelta team focused on sustainable client enablement and cross-functional engagement. By using “living documents” for real-time transparency and conducting targeted mentor-build trainings, the team empowered the CRO to become self-sufficient on the Zelta platform. This collaboration resulted in 10 fully certified study designers capable of independently building and managing future studies.

By implementing reusable template studies and parallel workflows, the team reduced dependency bottlenecks and established a robust model for future large-scale migrations. This recognition from the ACDM underscores Zelta’s commitment to delivering data-driven solutions that help life sciences organizations transform into insights-driven organizations.
