I’m thrilled to share some exciting news with you! I’m stepping into a new role that brings me back to where my journey began at Merge 15 years ago: managing Cardiology implementations. In addition to overseeing solution consulting (training), field service engineering (installs), and project management, I’m eager to reconnect with our customers and partners in this hands-on capacity.
Throughout my time at Merge, I’ve been fortunate to lead initiatives that have shaped how we deliver value to our customers. From rebuilding our Merge Cardio Structured Reporting Methodology in 2017 to launching the new-and-improved Merge Hemo 90-day Methodology in 2025, I’ve always been passionate about creating the solutions that will make you successful. Now, I’m excited to announce that we’re currently working on a new-and-improved Merge Cardio CPACS 100-day deployment — stay tuned for more details!
I look forward to working closely with you as we continue to innovate and deliver exceptional outcomes together.

With transcatheter therapies and cardiac imaging guided interventions on the rise, it’s more important than ever to have an image management platform that can handle multiple modalities. Watch the latest episode of The Cardiac Wire Show to hear from Sujith J. Kalathiveetil, MD, FACC, at Duly Health about his experience with Merge Cardio and how it has changed his patient workflows in the clinic.
Merge will be in New Orleans, March 28-30, for ACC 2026! Come find us at booth #929 to discuss your Merge deployment, and why now may be the time to consider upgrading to the latest versions of our 2026 Best in KLAS cardiology hemodynamic monitoring solution and top 3 KLAS cardiology solution.
We’ll also have a live demo of our new AI capabilities, plugged directly in from Merge partner Us2.ai, showcasing how the newest version of Merge Cardio is taking variability out of the equation for cardiology workflows – making echocardio measurements more consistent and reproducible, and less tedious for users.
Speaking of events, we hope you’ll also join us May 18-20 in New Orleans for the return of Merge LIVE. Check out the agenda to see what we have on deck for this year. The cardiology track is filled with in-depth product updates, customer testimonials about their Merge experience, and plenty of time to network. We promise the event will be worth the trip – and worthy of the name LIVE. See you in New Orleans!
Tenure at Merge: I’ve been on the support team at Merge almost 20 years! I began my career here helping our support team install remote connectivity software.
Professional achievements: I started supporting Merge Cardio in 2011 and have worked my way to lead both Merge Cardio and Merge Hemo Support teams along with our Clinical Reporting team as Senior Manager of Support.
Best aspect of working in support: Working in support affords endless opportunities to problem solve and to work with great people across various backgrounds. One of my favorite aspects of my role is working with our customers to find solutions to their challenges, be it workflow or application related, and taking that back to the business to be their advocate. It’s a great feeling to solve their problem and improve the product for the next customer.
Favorite thing about living in Wisconsin: Getting to enjoy all the seasons! Whether it’s boating, fishing or swimming in any of our many lakes or cozying up to a warm fire after a hike in the winter, Wisconsin has so much to offer.
Hobbies and interests: Prior to having a family, my wife of 14 years, Andrea and I loved to travel! With several trips to Spain, Greece, Austria, Portugal, Germany and Morocco, we were also lucky enough to spend some time with friends in Ukraine. We’re looking forward to additional trips with our kids, Emma (6) and Alex (3) in the near future.
During the summers, we love to go camping, boating and enjoy spending nights outside around a campfire.
I’m also an avid keeper and propagator of tropical fish and plants with a handful of aquariums and a variety of species.
On Marc’s bucket list: I’m looking forward to traveling and spending time with family and friends on our boat and out in the country on our family farm.
