Micromedex®, a leading source of evidence-based drug information and medication safety insights, is partnering with Perplexity, the AI‑powered answer engine, to make trusted drug information easier to discover within Perplexity’s modern AI workflows.
Perplexity has selected Micromedex as one of its Premium Sources and will integrate a subset of Micromedex’s authoritative drug content into its AI search experience. This collaboration will enable Perplexity users to access trusted drug information directly within the tools they are using to find answers.
As AI search becomes a growing entry point for information discovery, the partnership reflects a shared commitment to responsible AI, prioritizing accuracy, transparency, and source attribution, particularly in healthcare, where information quality matters most.
